About Us

Iowa Child Health Connections was created and will be maintained by staff at the University of Iowa Division of Child and Community Health. The Division is part of the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics. All Division programs follow a System of Care philosophy, which is an approach to services that recognizes the importance of family, school, and community, and seeks to promote the full potential of all child and youth by addressing their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.

We appreciate the Medical Home Portal (www.medicalhomeportal.org) and its authors for allowing us to extract their content for many of the pages within Iowa Child Health Connections.
